The Story Behind Sasha's Doll Studio 🤍

The Story Behind Sasha's Doll Studio 🤍

Some dreams begin in childhood and quietly wait for us to find our way back to them.

When I was a little girl, one of my favorite things to do was make clothes for my dolls. I used whatever I could find — scraps of fabric, ribbons, buttons, and little pieces of anything that could become part of a doll's outfit.

I didn't know it then, but I was already creating.

Life took me in a completely different direction. I studied economics and built a career in the world of numbers, business, and management. For many years, my days were filled with plans, responsibilities, and practical things.

But my heart always belonged somewhere else.

It belonged to creativity.

Today, at 50, I have come back to that little girl who loved making tiny dresses for her dolls. Only now, I have the experience, patience, and skills to turn those childhood ideas into something real.

I sew my dolls by hand, create their clothes, paint their little faces, and carefully work on every tiny detail. And when I create a portrait doll from a photograph, I try to capture more than just someone’s appearance — I want to preserve a feeling, a memory, a little piece of a person that can be held in your hands.

For me, every doll is more than a handmade creation.

It is a meeting point between the little girl I once was and the woman I have become.

And perhaps that is why I put so much love into every doll I make. 🤍

Thank you for being here and for allowing my childhood dream to become a part of your story.

With love,
Sasha
